​Sathirtha is a junior majoring in Biology on the pre-med track along with a certificate in Business studies. Ultimately, he hopes to become an anesthesiologist and make some entrepreneurial strides to address the inequity gap in healthcare, like creating his own practice or hospital that prioritizes accessible care. In the meantime, he believes that it's very important to have conversations, and that SOBEM offers an incredible platform for people to discuss important issues surrounding science and medicine. He hopes to contribute as best as possible to fostering an inclusive community and safe space through SOBEM where members get to have conversations, discuss the issues that matter, and even work toward creating solutions. Outside of SOBEM and academics, he loves being outside, going on trips with friends, and doing food crawls in the city (He's always happy to give recommendations!) He's tried out 68 new places in the city since the start of the year!
