Kimberly is a senior at Hunter College majoring in biochemistry with a minor in anthropology. She is currently a Research Assistant at Dr. Akira Kawamura’s organic chemistry lab. She is interested in how the microscopic workings of the human body translate to the macroscopic level of the human experience, and the influence of culture on our perception of scientific and medical developments and issues. In her free time, Kimberly enjoys visiting art museums, listening to music, and teaching herself to play the piano. She also loves art and in her free time likes to draw and visit art museums!
