Niharika is a Biochemistry major with a minor in Economics at Hunter College. Her interest in bioethics was sparked through two semesters of Medical Ethics courses at Macaulay Honors College, where she developed a deep appreciation for the complex moral dimensions of science and medicine. Living and studying in a city as diverse as New York has further strengthened her belief that ethical discourse must incorporate perspectives from multiple cultural and social lenses. In addition to her academic pursuits, she is passionate about writing and journals regularly as a means of reflection and expression. Through participating, she hopes to channel that passion into thoughtful discussions and written pieces that explore the intersection of science, ethics, and humanity. Fun fact, she participates in the Nepali parade annually and loves running and skiing.
